See stunning views of Cambridgeshire from a classically refurbished twin-engine Dragon Rapide for a 20-minute sightseeing tour.
Our Dragon Rapides are some of the very few of their type left flying. The aircraft have been lovingly restored to as new condition, and today comply with modern regulations.
The aircraft has eight passenger seats, all of which have a window, which makes this the perfect sightseeing aircraft.
Upon boarding this classic aircraft you are transported back to the nostalgic age of early flight. You will depart from Duxford airfield and fly east to the ancient city of Cambridge, taking in the breathtaking spires, the pinnacles of King’s College Chapel, the courtyards of Trinity and St. John’s, and the River Cam as it flows through the gardens and water meadows of the University.
More than just a gift!
With your flight, you will be entitled to FREE entry into the Imperial War Museum at Duxford, and your friends and family will be entitled to half-price entry.
The airfield is the home of Britain’s largest aviation museum, with nearly 200 aircraft, military vehicles, artillery and minor naval vessels in seven main exhibition buildings. Some of the sights to be seen are Concorde, Eurofighter, SR-71 Blackbird, B-17 Flying Fortress, and many Spitfires.
